with debian there is some dependency trouble.. guess what!
with ubuntu 14, watch out for package installs that are embedded in the instructions....i had to change the following....
Ubunti 14 conflict problem it seems that I have a conflict with my webcam gspca_main says: FATAL: Module gspca_main is in use.
I give up prefer to use kinnect on an other computer probably it my webcame that uses the port
