Version 11/12/2023

1. The Institute for Technology in the Interest of Worms is opened from 11-15 December between 10:00 and 17:00, except on Monday, from 09:00-17:00.
2. We pay attention to each other and each other's needs, boundaries and eventual discomforts in how we speak with each other and how we share the spaces.
3. During this week, we will collectively take care of a kefir culture. Before the day closes, we will need to decide together who feeds it, who takes it home, etc.
4. Every day, new entities will join The Institute for Technology in the Interest of Worms. Today for example, we introduced yourselves through a description of what brought us here and what digital waste we brought with us; Zoumana, Femke and Martino spoke about the program of the week. How are we welcoming these temporary participants tomorrow? How do we narrate what is going on?
5. Incomprehension, misunderstanding and confusion is part of the feelings that participants in The Institute for Technology in the Interest of Worms might often encounter. This is because we cross scales, forms of knowledge and orientations. We might not be able to make sense of all of it all the time, especially not on our own. We encourage ourselves therefore to interrupt and signal when we don't understand, through posing one of the three questions below:
- I want to understand ... because ...
- I think I do not understand because ...
- I want to understand the following ...
