PRESENTATION TEXT

Graphic designers and researchers Loraine Furter and Sarah Magnan work on hybrid publishing and the politics of design representations. They are part of the collective Just for the record, that investigates how history is recorded on collaborative platforms. In their presentation, they will unfold the notion of hybrid publishing, rethinking the articulation between online, print and other publishing formats. As their design work is intimately related to their feminist activism, open source tools, and commoning efforts in the design practice, they will weave these topics together with tools and works that deserve more visibility.
