Slide 1:

The heading reads: "Krüppelzeitung 1/1981” - anonymous contribution from pages 26 - 28 in the newspaper. The English translation on the slide reads: Since 1 ½ years I am becoming more intensely busy with crip work. I am confronting my difficulties of why I didn't want to engage with other crips for so long, and am realizing that this is because I am only recognized in this society when I have integrated, when I have relations with nondisableds etc. // Die Überschrift lautet: „Krüppelzeitung 1/1981“ - anonymer Beitrag von Seite 26 - 28 in der Zeitung. Der Text lautet: Seit 1 1½ Jahren beschäftige ich mich nun intensiver mit Krüppelarbeit. Slide 3: 
The heading is: “Crip Consciousness”. The English translation on the slide reads: So l am pulling up my repressed aggressions towards crips, work on them by actively doing disability work, write articles about my difficulties to feel in solidarity with disabled people and feel how I am getting stronger, how slowly a crip consciousness is taking up space in me. // Die Überschrift lautet: „Krüppelbewusstsein“. Darunter befindet sich eine Übersetzung aus dem Deutschen ins Englische und unser kollektiver Name, Qüpp steht an der Seite. Der deutsche Text lautet: Also hole ich meine verdrängten Aggressionen Krüppeln gegenüber hoch, arbeite daran, indem ich aktiv Behindertenarbeit mache, schreibe Artikel über meine Schwierigkeiten, mich mit Behinderten solidarisch zu fühlen, und fühle, wie ich stärker werde, wie sich langsam ein Krüppelbewußtsein in mir ausbreitet.

Slide 4: 
The heading: “Attention, here comes the crip invasion!”. Below is a translation from German to English. The English translation on the slide reads: Yes, I'm feeling strong and good, when we take to the streets as a horde of crips and when the people stare at us in dismay because they cannot handle so many crips at once. I'm becoming skittish when we call after them: Attention, here comes the crip invasion! Translation by Iz Paehr. // Die Überschrift lautet: „Achtung, hier kommt die Crip-Invasion!“. Darunter steht eine Übersetzung aus dem Deutschen ins Englische und unser kollektiver Name, Qüpp, steht an der Seite. Der deutsche Text lautet: Ja, ich fühle mich sogar richtig stark und gut, wenn wir als Horde Krüppel durch die Straßen ziehen und die Leute uns entsetzt nachgaffen, weil sie so viele Krüppel auf einmal nicht verkraften können. Ich werde übermütig, wenn wir ihnen dann nachrufen: "Achtung, hier kommt die Krüppelinvasion!” Übersetzung by Iz Paehr. 

Erste Seite:
Auf blauem Hintergrund steht in fetter schwarzer Schrift Danke, Udo! Der Hintergrund ist ein vergrößerter Screenshot aus der Krüppelzeitung: Da die Zeitung so oft kopiert und gescannt wurde, entstehen visuelle Fragmente. Darunter ist eine Illustration eines schwarz umrandeten Stiftes abgebildet und die Unterüberschrift Behindertenrechte mit Stift und Papier erkämpfen. Das von uns erfundene Wort QÜPP – der Name unseres Kollektivs – steht senkrecht links in weißer, selbstgezeichneter Schrift.

Zweite Seite:
Die Frage: Was macht Udo Sierck? wird in einer schwarzen fetten Schrift gestellt. Darunter steht in kleiner Schrift: Seit den 1970er Jahren ist Udo politisch, aktivistisch und wissenschaftlich aktiv. Er war einer der zentralen Herausgeber*innen der Krüppelzeitung und hat darüber viel in seinen Arbeiten reflektiert. Auf der linken Seite des Posts ist das QÜPP Logo.

Dritte Seite:
Die Überschrift lautet: Mit wem trieb Udo Krüppel- Unfug? Darunter steht: Udo hat mit Nati Radtke, Franz Christoph und vielen anderen zusammen für Räume, in denen Behinderte Menschen sich finden, streiten, einigen und raufen konnten gekämpft. Dabei ging es weniger darum, eine einheitliche Haltung zu finden, sondern das Behindertenfeindliche System in seiner historischen Kontinuität zu verstehen. Auf der linken Seite des Posts ist das QÜPP Logo zu sehen.

Vierte Seite:
Die Überschrift dieser Folie lautet: Udo’s Einfluss auf QÜPP. Darunter steht geschrieben: Udo Sierck schreibt tiefgründig, lustig und wütend – er forscht detailverliebt, archivversessen und strukturiert. Seine Bücher über die Krüppelbewegungen, Krüppelgruppen und Behindertenpolitischen Fragen helfen uns zu verstehen, wofür Krüppel schon lange kämpfen. Auf der linken Seite des Posts ist das QÜPP Logo zu sehen.

Fünfte Seite:

On the second slide the question: What does Udo Sierck do? is posed in a bold black text. Below, a smaller font reads: Udo has been active in activism, politics and academia since the 1970s. He was one of the main editors of the Krüppelzeitung [en: cripnewspaper] and has reflected on this throughout his work.

It was less about finding a unified stance, and more about understanding ableism as an oppressive system in its historical continuity.
