Mindfuck 1:There is no difference between radio waves, rontgen radiation and visible light
Mindfuck 2: Radio waves can be thought of as invisible light, what we humans see with our eyes is only a fraction of the (electromagnetic) spectrum.
Mindfuck 3: These waves are everywhere, emitted constantly  by a huge variety of sources (from natural to man made) and travel with the speed of light.
Mindfuck 4: Each of these waves have different physical lengths. The wave is a thing with a size.
Mindfuck 5: In contrast to soundwaves, radio wave don't need a medium to travel in, they can go through a vacuum/space

Radio & Sound are both described described as waves
but: RADIO != SOUND

Radio > electromagnetic energy
Sound > air pressure

These wave  descriptions are mathematical abstractions and can be used to describe a variety of phenomena:
from radio, to sound, to bouncing balls, to indeed waves on the ocean.

Lets listen to an increasingly faster oscillating audio wave, If anyone thinks the amplitude is to high, please let us know

* Propagation

A radio wave can do any number of things that light can do: it can be focused, dispersed, reflected or absorbed.
Radiowaves generally pass through materials, except magnetic ones such as metal. However it will also have difficuly passing through very big objects.
It can thus be blocked by physical objects, but it can also reflect, it is a line of sight medium but with long enough waves (low frequencies) the wave can be reflected off the ionosphere

Different wavelengths reflect differently. The size of ionized plasma particles in the ionosphere is relative to the wavelength of the HF signal. When these signals hit the plasma particles since size is more less eqaul to wavelength these HF signals will be reflected as in case of very high frequency or VHF wavelenths are very small and can penetrate. One more reason is effect of the refractive index of the medium mostly depends on the wavelength of the signal which is passing through that media. At HF frequency this effect is more compared to VHF.
