Collective printer ? the HP laserjet is owned by Marius and Sarah. Budget: -> what to do with our reserve of money As you know, we are putting aside money through the rent we pay every month, reaching now smt like 12.000 euro. The idea is not to keep this money indefinitely (Constant is still a non profit organisation ;) ), so it would be good to discuss: - if we will use them for extra renovation needs or smt else; - if we stop putting money aside (which would mean to pay less rent/month) Moreover, it seems that the works of Fix are much cheaper than their initial devis so the reserve will be untouched. Rent has a part for costs, and reserve managed by Constant. It has not been used. It will grow! Constant cannot keep it indefinetely, cannot be a bank. - Fix was cheaper than budgeted after recalculation. We can do the doors?! Around 15.000. The blue backdoor of the fronthouse, needs to be done soon then. Fix is ready to do it, Renaud (electrician) needs to be - Gas is calculated in June (probably double?) - We can wait until June, and then recalculate rent and provisions based on the real use of gass during the whole year. - We prepare the back house for spring to be build. - Work on the curtain / separation between the main space and shelves space. - Every year, reduce reserve to 6000 max (either lowering rent or doing investments) 5. New dates for cleaning / fixing (finishing cupboard) + House meeting (maybe we can set several dates for the year to come ? Saint-Luc jury in the common space Rafaella Houlstan, which is member of Constant, and teacher at Saint-Luc, asked me if it would be possible to host the jury of their students in our common space in CDJ. The students are invited every year to show their work in a different space outside the school. The jury will happen on 23-24-25 (full days) + 26 June in the morning (cleaning up). Rafaella is checking if the school has budget to rent the space, but she is not sure. I've checked the calendar and the common space is free on these days. What do you think about it? * How many students? * We want to be able to pass to the garden, use the kitchen? * Financial or other compensation ? * Wondering about the walls.
