IV. READING.

Valentina from Buenos Aires writes...
Argentina is not only a hot country; there are some very cold parts, too. Because the south is near Antarctica it's often very cold, especially (szczególnie) in the mountains. There are very high (wysokie) mountains in all of Argentina - the Andes. In the south they meet the sea, and are really lovely.

Jane from County Kerry tells us...
Ireland is a beautiful country - very green and fresh. Unfortunately, this is because it's also a very wet (mokry) country - it gets a lot of rain. Ireland has a lot of pretty (śliczny), low hills; they're certainly not mountains! In some places in the west the hills come right down to the beach, so it's possible to sunbathe and look at the hills at the same time.

During (podczas) the week I work for a magazine (czasopismo) company - it's great fun and very busy, but I always take an hour for lunch, sometimes two (then I work until 7:00!). It's important to get out of the office. I always go on the Internet and go on Facebook for a few minutes, then I go out. On Monday I always go running or go for a walk, on Tuesday I usually do my homework (because I go to an evening class on Tuesday evenings). On Wednesday I often go shopping - some friends usually visit me on Wednesday evening so I get some food for the barbecue. I sometimes go to a concert on Thursday lunchtime and on Friday I always go for a long lunch with friends. I don't do a lot at the weekend - maybe go to the cinema on Saturday, then on Sunday I just relax and watch football on TV.
