FEEDBACK WORKSHOP
– check-in was nice, funny conversations came up and it contributed to a sense of community and intimacy
– it started with a slight discomfort; not clear how to start the conversation, or how to move from one speaker to another? Perhaps the hosts could have taken in bit more guidance here that helps for a sense of comfort
– the questions of choosing one option to the other option were nice, but the methods/formats in which it happened could be thought through furhter
– could there be a relation to the format, conditions or rules for the check-in, to the way we answer the questions (and perhaps how the questions are posed)?
– the 'need' for a check-in is clear, and people generously contributed. But the need for the questions is less clear, they trigger the mind, but it seems nothing is done with the answers, and there is no reflection on the answers. It makes me as a participant wonder what is the unerlying 'aim' or urge?
– the music is amazing and has a strong presence, and I like that we are all listening to the same sound at the same moment. but as it is so present, and with such a clear language, and so obivously 'african' (or Jamaican?), I wonder why this is choosen, what is the relation between the music, the task you asked us to do, the questions and the set-up? (and with the youtube-adds in between the sound....? make sure for a next online workshop, you double check these kind of 'glitches' [unless you play with them obviously perhaps;-)]) As I can't find a relation, the choices feel a bit random. I can imagine it's meant to brighten our mind and creativity?
This is a British artist Macka B with his series all about fruit and vegetables : Medical Monday. I like the way he makes such wholesome rhymes about taking care of yourself with healthy eating.
– with making the vegetable-person, it would be good to have a bit more instruction while making it, you've send us out rather quickly with a short instruction of 'decorating' it to a friendly figure, but I was left a bit puzzled in why which choices I could make
– the dialogues with the veggie-friends do get an instruction or introduction, that helps, and the text in the chat was a good reminder of thinking what to say when we were in the break-out room
– Once when you were telling, why you did all this, it made more sense, it was a very interesting narrative and that placed the different choices. it would have been interesting to share that in the beginning or our mini-workshop, as me as a participant would then be more engaged
– what is interesting is that we created an object on which we project meaning and narratives, and while talking with and about it, it gains emotional value
– the aspect that we had fun was a good energy, there was a nice surprise moment when everyone showed their figure. This could have been ritualized perhaps more, for instance, one by one ("show your friend, choose a name and say ..... about it"), then each time we would have a laugh seeing it. Now this aspect was given away in a short second.
– the final question "can you teach care?" was very interesting! I would love we would have had more time to exchange about this. This is very inspiring, intimate and engaging. Perhaps this is something that could have been more present in the 'assignements' before, like in the tone of voice of the check-in, or the kind of questions that you ask us to choose from, or the way we treat a fruit or vegetable. Then we would have encountered the notion of care on different angles, and that would have helped us to further engage with it
– the ending of the workshop was really inspiring, what people shared was so relevant, and it was nice how Robin took this for a new question of "how does care take a place in your project"? The answers were amazing, I wish someone had written it down
– after such sensitive talk on care, I wondered why you wanted to make a competition, and in a way create hierarchy
— just a wordplay: CARE, CAREFUL, SCARE, SCAR, SCARED, CARING, CAREER, CAREFREE

2.50 pm – 4.00 pm – contemplative, intimate, anxieties, how to open a very honest discussion abou tteh frame of the course, reflect on the input we get, a lot about questioing systematics and hierarchies and ways of learning, while we are set up is rather normative, take this idea of the jury to critical reflect on the value system that is put in place? To understand there is an administrative structure in place, that we are subject to, to undersand to how can that be appropriated, that it is to our benefit. What are the liberties in this format? Maybe we can go out of it, to a cafe, to change position.

– collective discussion moment
- moment to see the group as a collective body
– beautiful mapping of needs, and on the right time; half-way the year
– it was very nice to be in break-out rooms
– I enjoyed listeting to the output of the breakout rooms, and drawing collectively at the same moment
– it was good that you included the question on the end of how to 'materialize' the proposals, that gives the workshop directly a meanting that really goes beyond the moment
– supernice proposals came out
– I learned from listening to all the needs, desires and possible translations to action/forms/initiatives

4.20pm – 5.15pm – celebrative, festive, virtual fortune teller, everyone puts his dreams in the chatbox, she will spell your future, visual moodboard about the wishes you have for th enext year. to hsare the moods with each other. secret santa; sharing a present with each other. rituals and traditions.

– Beautiful sharing of intentions
– The dancing was really nice, a good break to a day of sitting behind the computer, and the video was well choosen that it had instructions for how to move.
