Just got  it to root
all info on http://www.androidparlor.com/how-to-root-the-samsung-galaxy-y-gt-s5360/
just copy an update file on sd card start phone in emergency mode and boot from the update.zip file
Then I installed a terminal emulator and an ssh client
Also looking to usb serial communication interface
