“You have to be prudent and you need to make a judgment call,” Sabeen told me at the time of Taseer’s murder, as she planned events to pay tribute to the slain governor. “You have to consider whether your actions will help the cause or take away from it.” She added, “I have to ask myself: ‘Is this worth doing?
