CHRISTA BENZER ist seit 1999 freie Mitarbeiterin der Tageszeitung Der Standard und seit 2003 Redaktionsmitglied der Kunstzeitschrift springerin – Hefte für Gegenwartskunst. Sie schreibt für internationale Kunstmagazine wie Metropolis m, Bidoun, Contemporary Practices, Texte zur Kunst. Sie ist Mitherausgeberin der Publikation Continuing Dialogs – A Tribute to Igor Zabel und hat 2009 die Videoreihe 13 Lessons in Performance Art co-kuratiert. Sie lebt in Wien.
