16:10
Madeleine introduces material related to the figure of the programmer/nerd in literature and films

16:30
Freyja, Wendy (+ Anne) introduce MakeHuman: possibilities, potential problems

16:45
Ask participants to choose their camp: 'féminine', 'masculin' or 'sur mesure' (Femke prepares badges). Make sure each group has a computer (not evident; not many are bringing machines so might mean we need to lend out our own). Each group installs MakeHuman and starts modelling a proposal for a 'Silicon body'

Madeleine + Anne go around and interview participants. Femke, Wendy, Freyja help out with MakeHuman

17:30
Interlude: Hacking with care exercise (see attached booklet by Anne Goldenberg)

17:45
Break [empty card + organise files per group]

18:00
Groups rotate: 'féminine' work on 'masculin' or on 'sur mesure' proposals, and vice versa. Introduce cut-up, screenshot, collage.

18:45
Feedback, preparation for next week: each group prepares a digital image of a 'Silicon body', a 'corps-collage'. (The recorded interviews will become sound tracks for 6 images)

Questions:

How are you getting on with MakeHuman? What is difficult to do, and what do you find easy?
Why did you choose Feminine/Masculin/Sur mesure in the first place?
What body parts would you want to add/take away/change place?
Do you think you are working on a 'corps-collage' that is Feminine/Masculin/Sur mesure and why?
